Cody is sick. But Happy Halloween!

Well, last weekend, Cody and I got sick with something kinda like a nasty cold. I'm not totally sure what it is, but my sore throat and fever are gone, and Cody's runny nose and congested cough are worse this weekend than last. Poor Kid. He can hardly sleep because he's so stuffed up. We're running the humidifier, squirting little saline drops in his nose, and sucking him clean with the aspirator bulb... The little guy's tough, but we just feel so helpless. He's woken up with a few crusty/bloody noses and has a hard time even eating or sucking on his nuk when he's real stuffed up.  Any tips from the mamas out there are welcome :)
I feel bad because we've just been tooling him around everywhere. Friday night was the Family Fun Night at church, and I had him outside for like 4 hours yesterday when I was up at CCU for a photo thing at their Harvest Carnival. He is eating and sleeping a lot today, which is good. I stayed home from church with him to try t…

An Autumn Walk at Harriman Lake

Because I love Fall. Because I love my husband. Because my husband loves me. Because I love my son.
Because I love the colors. Because I love the water.  Because I love photos. Because I love our dog.  Because I love walking.  Because I love living near the Rockies.  Because I love Fall...
...we went on a walk around Harriman Lake last weekend.

It has been a while...

First off, I'm typing with like three available fingers these days, so please forgive any messes or lack of longer sentences (appropriate grammar and word usage). And, I'm going to try to make more frequent posts, so I'll just have to concede (is that the right word?) the fact that they'll be shorter posts. Maybe just little updates.

Secondly, I know I've become a Cody snob. All I ever do is post photos and videos of the kid. I'll try to be better about telling stories, too, so you can stay in the loop on everything, not just how STINKING CUTE OUR SON IS!

Thirdly, here are a couple things to catch you up.

Work has been going good, the girls LOVE Cody! Kim has to fight Fin and Sel when she gets home in the afternoons if she wants a baby-fix:) Like, they'll literally argue about who gets the next turn! hahahaha!When all three kids and myself are going places, I wish everywhere had a drive thru... the cleaners, the gas station, school, target, the grocery sto…

Hi Dad!

Here's a video (sorry for the poor quality, it's from my phone) that I took of the Codman while Tim was Duck Hunting in North Dakota this weekend. We missed him, and knew he sure missed us :)

the poof!

Psalm 96. Splendor.

1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Sing to the LORD, praise his name;
   proclaim his salvation day after day.
3Declare his glory among the nations,
   his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

4 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
   he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols,
   but the LORD made the heavens.
6Splendor and majesty are before him;
   strength and glory are in his sanctuary.
7 Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations,
   ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
   bring an offering and come into his courts.
9Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness;
   tremble before him, all the earth.
10 Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.”
   The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved;
   he will judge the peoples with equity.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
   let the sea resound, and all that is in it.

Two Months Old!

Our little Cod-Man

Cody has continued to be a huge blessing to me and Tim everyday. We're so thankful that he has been healthy, and seems to be developing well. He actually has his two-month well-check doctor's visit with Dr. Jen on Thursday. I'm excited to see how much he's grown (in numbers)!

Here are some updates on the guy:
He smiles all the time, especially when you're smiling at him.He likes to sleep in his pack-n-play (because that's his only option, haha) in our bedroomHe does a great job having some time on his belly everyday. Although, it sometimes isn't his favorite. He comes to work with me when I go (M, T, W, F) and we have Thursdays home together or we run errands :) He's good at being in the car & storesSometimes in the car on the way to/from work he gets fussy and just screams. This is SO hard for me... but I am getting better at dealing with it. It seems like when he gets mad, he's like REALLY mad. :( poor guy. But, I've only had to pull over t…
