Belleview Park with Trixie & Andrew

Belleview park is this sweet sweet public park, owned by the City of Englewood. It has a giant plane on display (like up on a stand--you can't go in it), two awesome playgrounds for the kids, several clean picnic shelters, bathrooms, Big Dry Creek (little creek that runs through the length of the park), bridges, a train to ride, and a small farm/petting zoo. It is free to get in, but $1.50 per kid for the Farm or Train. Super fun summer entertainment! The creek is great for the kiddos to play in, because it is shallow (up to two feet at deepest-but mostly around 1/2 a foot deep?), sandy-bottomed, and has fun stuff for them to find on the bottom like rocks, sticks, and crayfish. I love bringing the kids there!

Like a week ago, Trixie and I met up there with the kids and just played. We soaked up the sun, had a picnic, found some crayfish (dead), rode the train, and visited the farm. Lots of fun!
